In computing lessons at Birches Green, we pride ourselves on preparing the children for success in the digital world. Online safety is taught throughout the year in every year group and boosted by activities during Online Safety Week and Safer Internet Day. Our pupils learn to code, show their creative side through stop-action animation, dive into analysis of big data and how data travels, and investigate how what we input to a machine will determine its output. The curriculum starts with foundational skills in Early Years and builds on these through Key Stage 1 and 2 in order to best prepare our children for the future.
